You are in vacation and there is one thing you want to do: dance, dance, and dance! So where do you go in Venice? Here, there is not exactly a rich crop of dance clubs and discotheques. But don’t despair, there is one quiet famous, or maybe even infamous one: Piccolo Mondo. This dance club first opened in the 1960s and it might have never seen a renovation or new interior design since. If you make it past the bouncer, who has his very own ideas about who should be allowed inside, you will enter into a retro world. Essentially there is only one thing to do and everyone is doing it: to dance. The club opens at 10 pm, but you shouldn’t expect large crowds before midnight. It all ends at 4 am, when the last night owls are sent home.
